Our team
The interventionists who guide Transcend families.
Transcend Interventions is led by Founder, Owner and Lead Interventionist Joe Ortiz and supported by experienced interventionists and recovery coaches. Inquiries may be handled by an appropriate professional interventionist from Transcend based on the family’s circumstances, location, availability, and needs.

Joe Ortiz founded Transcend Interventions to help families move from chaos to clarity. He brings more than 36 years in healthcare, direct training in the Break Free Method and CRAFT, and the perspective of long-term personal recovery.

Bob Muncil is a recovery coach and intervention specialist with more than 30 years of continuous sobriety, the founder of East West Recovery Coaches, and a 20-plus-year board member of an addiction treatment organization.

Joe O’Connor is a professional interventionist and Certified Recovery Coach Professional with 27 years of continuous sobriety, a member of the Association of Intervention Specialists, and more than a decade of board-level service to an addiction treatment organization.
A curated network, coordinated for continuity
Beyond our core team, Transcend partners with independent interventionists who each bring at least 10 years of established professional practice and are selected for ethics, experience and family-centered care. Every case is coordinated through a single firm structure — clear communication, defined expectations and oversight — so your family receives consistent, accountable guidance.
