A compassionate, ethical approach to intervention

Transcend Interventions is a private intervention and family recovery firm created to support families navigating addiction with clarity, compassion and structure.

When addiction is present, families are often overwhelmed — unsure what to say, what to do, or how to help without causing more harm. Our role is to slow the process down, reduce emotional reactivity, and guide families toward informed, ethical decisions that support long-term change.

Intervention does not need to be chaotic, confrontational or traumatic. We focus on preparation, strategy and support, helping families create the conditions where change is possible.

What our work is grounded in

  • Evidence-based intervention principles, including the Break Free Method and CRAFT
  • Family engagement and preparation
  • Clear communication and accountability
  • Respect for dignity, autonomy and boundaries

A carefully curated network of experienced professionals

Transcend works with a select group of independent, experienced interventionists who meet strict professional standards. All associate interventionists:

  • Bring 10 or more years of professional addiction intervention experience
  • Are trained, actively practicing intervention professionals
  • Operate independently while collaborating within a coordinated firm structure
  • Are selected for ethics, professionalism and family-centered care

Rather than training new interventionists, Transcend partners only with professionals who bring proven experience and sound judgment. Each case is supported through clear communication, defined expectations and oversight, so families receive consistent, ethical care. Inquiries may be handled by an appropriate professional interventionist from Transcend based on the family’s circumstances, location, availability and needs.

What we are — and aren’t

We are not an emergency service or a replacement for medical or psychiatric care. We serve as a coordinating guide, helping families understand their options and move forward with intention, in collaboration with licensed treatment providers.
